"We saw an opportunity to make the most of Heritage Month, as we fused our passion for all things art along with our passion for the South Coast. By providing a platform for the local artist, albeit small, we seek to grow fellowship and create a hub for the local artists. We are truly grateful to the likes of Ray Nkonyeni Municipality's Arts and Culture Department and the Uvongo Music Shop," Ngalo said.

According to IN.TYM assistant director Blessing Tanje, all South Coast residents need not worry for having missed the event, as IN.TYM’s bi-weekly Open Mic Sessions held at Zuri Beach offer up just as much entertainment on a regular basis. "We did have an open mic session on the same day as the event, however our bi-weekly Open Mic Sessions are where it's at and is open to the public free off charge. We invite all locals to come by and enjoy a night of arts as we help grow the talented local artists," said Tanje.
